Thrive in warm, humid environments (70-80% humidity). They go through five life stages from egg to adult and do not drink water but absorb moisture from the air.

Risks & Benefits

Major source of allergens; their waste and decaying bodies can trigger asthma, eczema, and allergic rhinitis in sensitive individuals. They do not bite or sting.
