Natural Habitat
Widely distributed and can be found in a variety of habitats, including gardens, forests, grasslands, deserts, and even inside homes. They prefer sunny areas with good visibility.
Diet & Feeding
Strictly carnivorous, feeding on various insects and other small arthropods. They are opportunistic predators.
Behavior Patterns
Jumping spiders are active hunters, relying on their excellent vision to stalk and pounce on prey. They do not build webs for catching prey, but rather for resting, molting, and egg-laying. Many species perform elaborate courtship dances.
