Size: Approximately 0.75 mm - 0.85 mm (about 1/30 of an inch)

Natural Habitat
Found outdoors in lawns, gardens, and grassy areas. They often enter homes, especially in cooler weather, seeking shelter. They are typically found around windows, walls, and foundations.
Diet & Feeding
Herbivorous, feeding on plant sap. They primarily feed on clover, grasses, and other herbaceous plants. They do not bite humans or animals.
Behavior Patterns
Clover mites are known for their nuisance invasions of homes, particularly during spring and fall. They are usually found in large numbers. When crushed, they leave a red stain.
