Natural Habitat
Indoors, especially in kitchens, bathrooms, and other areas with food, water, and harborage. They prefer warm, humid environments.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivorous scavengers. They eat almost anything, including human food scraps, grease, pet food, books, starches, glues, and even soap.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and highly secretive. They hide in cracks and crevices during the day and emerge at night to forage. They are fast runners and reproduce rapidly. Nymphs undergo several molts before reaching adulthood.
