Size: Males 4.5-5.5 cm (1.8-2.2 inches), Females 5-6 cm (2.0-2.4 inches)

Natural Habitat
Native to Madagascar and Africa, typically found in dry, shrubby environments, often camouflaged among dead leaves and twigs.
Diet & Feeding
Strictly carnivorous, primarily feeding on flying insects such as flies, moths, and crickets. They are ambush predators.
Behavior Patterns
Known for their excellent camouflage, mimicking dead leaves. They are generally calm and slow-moving, preferring to remain still and blend into their surroundings. They are solitary creatures. Females lay oothecae (egg cases) containing numerous eggs.
Risks & Benefits
No risks to humans. As predators, they can help control populations of various insects. In captivity, they are popular exotic pets due to their unique appearance and relatively docile nature.
