Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal and elusive. They hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo hemimetabolous metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).
Risks & Benefits
High risk of psychological distress and skin reactions/itching from bites. They are significant household pests and difficult to eradicate, though they are not known to transmit diseases to humans.
