Behavior Patterns
Known for their ability to jump using a tail-like appendage called a furcula. They are generally active decomposers and can appear in large numbers in humid conditions.
Risks & Benefits
Harmless to humans and pets (do not bite or sting). Beneficial as decomposers that recycle nutrients in the soil. Can be a nuisance in large numbers indoors but do not cause structural damage.
