Does not consume food; consists of shed fibers from cotton, wool, or synthetic materials.

Behavior Patterns

Often mistaken for insects or parasites due to their small size and ability to cling to hair or fabric. They are stationary and do not move on their own.

Risks & Benefits

No biological risk. While they can be a nuisance for clean clothing and a common cause of health-related anxiety (delusory parasitosis), they are harmless material fragments.
