Behavior Patterns

Nocturnal and elusive. They tend to hide in crevices and prefer high humidity. They are not strong flyers and move by walking or scurrying.

Risks & Benefits

Generally harmless to humans and do not bite or transmit diseases. They can become a nuisance in homes, especially in areas with high humidity, by damaging books, papers, and stored food products.
