German Cockroach (Nymph)

Size: Nymphs range from 2 mm to 12 mm, while adults reach approximately 13-16 mm (approx. 1/2 to 5/8 inch).

Natural Habitat
Typically found indoors in warm, humid areas such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry rooms. They favor cracks, crevices, and areas behind or under appliances.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivorous scavengers. They eat almost anything including food scraps, crumbs, grease, glue, leather, and starches.
Behavior Patterns
Primarily nocturnal and highly social; they tend to congregate in hidden harborages. They reproduce very rapidly, with a single egg case containing 30-40 eggs.
Risks & Benefits
Significant indoor pest. They can spread bacteria such as E. coli and Salmonella, contaminate food, and produce allergens that trigger asthma and allergic reactions in humans.
