Behavior Patterns
They thrive in high humidity and are often found in clusters. Life cycles are rapid, moving from egg through nymphal stages to adult in a matter of weeks.
Risks & Benefits
Primarily a risk to humans as a common allergen causing asthma, eczema, and hay fever. Some species can cause skin irritation or mange in animals. They offer no significant benefits to humans.
