Active during the day; known for congregating in large numbers on sun-exposed walls in the fall to seek overwintering sites indoors

Risks & Benefits

Benefit: Excellent natural pest control for gardens. Risks: Can bite if handled, produces a foul-smelling yellow fluid when stressed, and can become a nuisance pest indoors
