Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding
Saps from more than 200 different plant species including grasses, clover, and various ornamental plants.
Behavior Patterns
They are most active during cool weather in spring and fall. They do not bite humans or pets but can leave persistent red stains when crushed.
Risks & Benefits
Harmless to humans and pets as they are non-toxic and do not carry disease; however, they are considered a nuisance pest when they invade homes in large numbers.
