Natural Habitat
Commonly found in residential dwellings, specifically in cracks and crevices of mattresses, bed frames, and furniture near sleeping areas.
Diet & Feeding
Obligate hematophages, meaning they feed exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals, primarily humans.
Behavior Patterns
They are primarily nocturnal and elusive, hiding during the day and emerging at night to feed. They undergo cinq nymphal stages, requiring a blood meal to molt into the next stage.
