Behavior Patterns
Adult females migrate out of the anus at night to deposit eggs on the skin, which causes intense itching. Eggs become infectious within a few hours and are typically spread via the fecal-oral route.

Causes enterobiasis, characterized by perianal itching and restless sleep. While not considered dangerous, it is highly contagious within households or childcare settings and requires medicinal treatment.
