Nocturnal and highly gregarious; they reproduce very quickly through egg cases called oothecae. They are known for hiding in narrow cracks and crevices during the day.
Risks & Benefits
A major household pest; they spread pathogens like Salmonella and E. coli, and their droppings and shed skins are significant triggers for asthma and allergies in humans.
