Natural Habitat

Behavior Patterns
Active in high-moisture conditions. Known for their 'jumping' ability using a specialized appendage called a furcula located under the abdomen to escape predators. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis.
Risks & Benefits
They are harmless to humans, pets, and structures. They do not bite or sting. In the ecosystem, they are beneficial as they break down organic matter and cycle nutrients back into the soil.
