Size: Nymphs vary in size as they grow through instars, typically from 2 mm (first instar) up to 12 mm (fifth instar) before molting into adults. Adults are typically 12-17 mm in length.

Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding

Behavior Patterns

Nymphs and adults feed on plant sap. Brown marmorated stink bugs often aggregate on the sunny sides of buildings in the fall, seeking overwintering sites. When disturbed, they emit a noxious odor.
