Size: Nymphs can be very small (1-2 mm), adults grow up to 13-25 mm.

Natural Habitat
Dark, damp areas in homes such as basements, bathrooms, and attics. Often found near paper, glue, and starchy materials.

Starchy materials, carbohydrates, paper, glue, book bindings, and sometimes dead skin cells.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal, fast-moving, and avoid light. They go through gradual metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

They do not bite humans or carry diseases, but they are a nuisance pest that can cause damage to books, documents, wallpaper, and clothing.
