Natural Habitat

Behavior Patterns
Larvae are typically slow-moving and prefer dark, undisturbed areas. They molt several times, leaving behind shed skins. Adult carpet beetles are often found near windows in homes as they are attracted to light and feed on pollen and nectar outdoors.

Potential risks include damage to textiles, clothing, carpets, and other household items made of natural fibers. They do not bite humans or transmit diseases. Benefits are minimal in household settings but in nature, they play a role as scavengers.
