Behavior Patterns

Mainly nocturnal; highly social and often congregate in cracks and crevices. They reproduce very rapidly, with a single female producing up to 40 eggs per case.

Risks & Benefits

Significant household pest; can spread pathogens (like Salmonella and E. coli) on surfaces and trigger allergies or asthma through their droppings and shed skins. No ecological benefits in indoor human environments.
