Diet & Feeding

Behavior Patterns

Weak fliers that are often seen scurrying on soil surfaces or flying near windows/light sources. They have a short lifecycle of about 3 to 4 weeks.

Risks & Benefits

Generally harmless to humans but can be a nuisance indoors. Larvae can damage the root systems of young seedlings or houseplants if populations are high.
