Behavior Patterns
This image depicts a piece of lint, fiber, or debris, not a living organism. It is often mistaken for a parasite by individuals suffering from formication (sensation of bugs crawling on skin). The 'fibers' do not move, reproduce, or eat.
Risks & Benefits
No physical risk from the object itself as it is harmless debris (cotton, polyester, skin flakes). The primary risk is misdiagnosis of a medical or psychological condition where the patient believes these fibers are living parasites.
