Adults primarily feed on rotting fruit, tree sap, and nectar. Larvae feed on the leaves of plants from the Loranthaceae family, such as Mistletoe.
Behavior Patterns
They are known for their rapid, gliding flight and are often seen resting on top of leaves. Males are territorial and will chase away intruders. They exhibit complete metamorphosis including egg, larval, pupal, and adult stages.
