Bed Bug

Found in human dwellings, typically hiding in bed frames, mattresses, cracks, and crevices near sleeping areas.

Obligate blood feeders, primarily feeding on humans but also target other warm-blooded animals.

Nocturnal insects that hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

Risks include itchy bites, allergic reactions, secondary skin infections, and psychological distress. While they do not transmit diseases, they are significant domestic pests.
