Bed Bug

Found in indoor human environments, typically residing in cracks and crevices, mattress seams, and upholstered furniture.

Obligate hematophages; they feed exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals, primarily humans.

Mainly nocturnal and elusive, they emerge at night to feed. Their life cycle includes five nymphal stages that require a blood meal to molt.

They do not transmit diseases but cause itching, allergic reactions, and psychological distress. They provide no ecosystem benefits in human dwellings.
