Booklouse

Moist areas with high humidity, often found indoors on wood, wallpaper, books, or near food storage.

Feed on microscopic fungi, molds, starches, and organic debris.

Non-jumping, wingless insects that frequent damp environments. They reproduce quickly in humid conditions.

Harmless to humans and pets as they do not bite or spread disease, but can cause minor damage to books and stored pantry goods.
