Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding
Larvae feed on natural fibers like wool, silk, fur, feathers, hair, felt, and dried plant products. Adults feed on pollen and nectar outdoors but do not eat fabrics.
Behavior Patterns
Adults are often attracted to light and are found near windows. The larvae prefer dark, undisturbed areas under furniture or in closets. They move slowly and can roll over when disturbed.
