Nocturnal parasites that emerge at night to feed. After a blood meal, they return to hiding spots to molt into the next life stage.
Risks & Benefits
Significant urban pest. Risks include itchy skin welts, psychological distress, and potential allergic reactions. They are not known to transmit diseases to humans.
