Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal, fast-moving, and avoids light. They undergo hemimetabolous metamorphosis (gradual change) and are known for their fish-like swimming movements when running.
Risks & Benefits
While they do not bite or spread disease, they are considered pests because they can damage property such as books, clothing, and food stores. They serve as a food source for spiders and centipedes.
