Natural Habitat
Prefers warm, humid environments. Commonly found in basements, sewers, drains, steam tunnels, and around pipes. Also infest homes and commercial buildings, particularly kitchens and bathrooms, or other areas with water sources.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivorous scavengers, eating almost anything organic, including decaying matter, food scraps, paper, fabric, and even other insects.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal; they are active at night and hide in dark, secluded places during the day. They are quick runners and can squeeze into tight spaces. They tend to live in groups.

Risks: Can contaminate food and surfaces with bacteria (e.g., E. coli, Salmonella), parasites, and allergens. Their presence can trigger asthma and allergy symptoms in sensitive individuals.
