Bed Bug

Human dwellings, specifically in bed frames, mattresses, and cracks or crevices near sleeping areas.

Obligate hematophages, feeding exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals, primarily humans.

Nocturnal parasites that emerge at night to feed; they often bite in a linear pattern or cluster (sometimes called 'breakfast, lunch, and dinner').

Risks include itchy welts, allergic reactions, insomnia, and psychological distress. They are not known to transmit diseases to humans.
