Not a bug (Dried biological residue or skin flake)

Often found indoors on floors, furniture, or in dusty corners.

Does not eat; inanimate biological material.

Stationary. This appears to be a dried flake of skin, a scab, dried adhesive, or perhaps dried bodily fluid (like mucus) rather than a living insect. It lacks legs, antennae, segmentation, or functional body parts.

Generally harmless, though may be considered unhygienic or allergenic (dust mite food source) if it is skin.
