Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding
Larvae scavenge on animal products such as wool, silk, feathers, fur, and hair, as well as dried plant materials and cereals. Adults feed on pollen and nectar.
Behavior Patterns
The lifecycle includes egg, larva, pupa, and adult stages. Larvae avoid light and can live for several months to years depending on food availability. Adults are often seen on windowsills as they try to move outdoors.
