Common Bed Bug

Found in indoor environments frequented by humans including residences, hotels, and transport vehicles, residing in cracks and crevices.

Obligate blood feeders, primarily targeting humans during the night.

Nocturnal parasites that hide in mattress seams or bed frames during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

They do not transmit diseases but cause itchy welts, allergic reactions, anxiety, and sleep deprivation. They have no known benefits to the ecosystem.
