Bed Bug

Typically found in cracks and crevices near sleeping areas, including bed frames, mattresses, and furniture.

Obligate hematophages, primarily feeding on the blood of humans.

Nocturnal and elusive; they hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

Risks include itchy bites, allergic reactions, and psychological distress. They are not known to transmit diseases but are significant domestic pests.
