Natural Habitat

Diet & Feeding
Larvae feed on natural fibers like wool, silk, feathers, and fur, as well as dead insects and dried pet food. Adults feed on pollen and nectar.
Behavior Patterns
They undergo complete metamorphosis. Adults are attracted to light and are often found on windowsills. Larvae are scavengers that prefer dark, undisturbed areas to feed and grow.
