German Cockroach Ootheca (Egg Case)

Warm, humid indoor environments such as kitchens, bathrooms, and laundry areas, often near food and water sources.

Scavengers that consume a wide variety of human food, garbage, and organic matter including crumbs, glue, and soap.

Females carry the ootheca for several weeks until just before the eggs are ready to hatch. Each case can contain 30-40 nymphs. They are nocturnal and fast-reproducing.

A major indoor pest that contaminates food, surfaces, and air with allergens, feces, and pathogens. They can trigger asthma and spread bacteria such as Salmonella.
