The larva constructs a protective silk case covered in sand, dust, and lint. It can drag this case along walls and can emerge from either end to feed.
Risks & Benefits
They are considered household pests because they can damage natural fiber fabrics and carpets. They do not bite or sting humans and pose no direct health risk.
