Diet & Feeding

Larvae feed on natural fibers like wool, silk, fur, feathers, and dried plant products. Adults feed on pollen and nectar from flowering plants.

Adults are attracted to light and often found near windowsills. The destructive larval stage prefers dark, undisturbed areas. They undergo complete metamorphosis.
