Fast-running wingless insects that thrive in high humidity (>60%). They do not build nests but congregate where food and moisture are present.

Risks & Benefits

Generally harmless to humans and pets as they do not bite or transmit disease; however, they can contaminate food and are considered a nuisance indicator of moisture problems.
