Order & Family: Order: Coleoptera; Family: Dermestidae
Size: 4mm to 5mm (approximately 1/8 to 3/16 inch)

Natural Habitat
Found indoors in homes, warehouses, and museums, typically in dark, undisturbed areas such as under carpets, in closets, or within upholstered furniture.
Diet & Feeding
Scavengers that feed on natural fibers and animal products including wool, silk, fur, feathers, hair, dead insects, and dried pet food.
