Size: Typically measures between 0.5 to 1 inch (12-25 mm) in length.

Natural Habitat
Typically found in dark, damp environments such as basements, bathrooms, and attics. They prefer high humidity and often hide in crevices during the day.
Diet & Feeding
They feed on carbohydrates, particularly sugars and starches. Common food sources include book bindings, paper, carpet glue, clothing (synthetic and silk), wallpaper paste, and dandruff.
Behavior Patterns
Nocturnal insects that move rapidly with a wiggling motion resembling a swimming fish. They are extremely hardy and can survive for weeks without food.
