Bed Bug (Nymph)

Primarily indoor environments where humans reside, such as mattresses, bed frames, cracks, and crevices near sleeping areas.

Obligate hematophagous (feeds exclusively on the blood of mammals, primarily humans).

Nocturnal feeders that hide during the day; they undergo five nymphal stages (instars) and require a blood meal to molt at each stage.

Potential risk of itchy, red welts from bites and allergic reactions; can cause significant psychological distress and sleep loss; they are not known vectors of infectious diseases.
