Case-bearing Clothes Moth (Larva)

Indoors in homes and storage facilities, specifically in dark, undisturbed areas like closets, attics, and under furniture.

Keratin-rich animal fibers including wool, silk, fur, feathers, and hair, as well as lint and organic debris.

Larvae construct a portable silken case covered with debris and fibers from their food source. They carry this case as they feed and eventually pupate inside it.

Significant pest that causes damage to clothing, carpets, and upholstery; they provide no direct benefit to humans and indicate a need for pest management.
