Behavior Patterns

They congregate in large numbers where high humidity (above 60%) is present. They have a rapid lifecycle and can proliferate quickly in moisture-damaged areas.

Risks & Benefits

They do not bite humans or pets, but can cause allergic reactions, dermatitis, or respiratory issues (asthma) in sensitive individuals. They can contaminate stored food products.
