Human dwellings, specifically cracks and crevices in mattresses, bed frames, and furniture.

Obligate hematophages (blood-feeders), primarily targeting humans during sleep.

Nocturnal, hiding during the day and emerging at night; they undergo hemimetabolous metamorphosis from egg to adult.

Risks include itchy skin welts, allergic reactions, and psychological distress; they are not known vectors of infectious diseases.
