Natural Habitat

Deciduous forests and woodlots, often near water sources; commonly found on trees, shrubs, and man-made structures with porch lights.

Nocturnal with excellent camouflaging abilities to mimic tree bark; they possess sticky toe pads for climbing and hibernate during winter by producing a glycerol-based antifreeze.
