Bed Bug

Dwellings, specifically in cracks and crevices, mattresses, bed frames, and furniture near sleeping areas.

Obligate blood-feeders, primarily consuming human blood but may also feed on other warm-blooded animals.

Nocturnal and elusive; they hide during the day and emerge at night to feed. They undergo incomplete metamorphosis (egg, nymph, adult).

Risks include itchy bites, allergic reactions, and psychological distress. They are not known to transmit diseases but are a significant household pest.
