Bed Bug (Excrement/Fecal Spotting)

Indoor environments, specifically near human sleeping areas like mattress seams, bed frames, and upholstered furniture.

Obligate hematophages (feeds exclusively on the blood of warm-blooded animals, primarily humans).

Nocturnal and elusive; they hide in dark crevices during the day and emerge at night to feed. After a blood meal, they excrete digested blood as dark, ink-like spots.

Risks include itchy allergic reactions to bites, sleep deprivation, and psychological distress. While not known to transmit diseases, they are a significant pest infestation issue.
